Welcome to the Year 6 webpage. We hope you find the information here useful.
Our first Autumn term topic is ‘The World at War'. We will be reading Once by Morris Gleitzman and The Final Year by Matt Goodfellow. In Maths, we will be learning about place value and the four operations. Our topic this half-term will focus on history where we will learn about World War 2.
Information for Autumn 1
P.E. Days are Monday and Tuesday.
No bags larger than book bags please. Bags take up a lot of space and are usually empty. Packed lunch boxes and water bottles are removed from bags on entry to school; a book bag is large enough to contain the items needed to travel to and from the classroom. Large bags will be need to be taken home with the parent at drop off.
Please ensure your child’s clothing is named.
