Welcome to the Year 6 webpage. We hope you find the information here useful.
Our Autumn term topic is ‘Gadgets & Gizmos'. We will be reading Once and The Final Year. In English, we will be focusing on writing narrative using the classic Sherlock Holmes short story, 'The Adventure of the Blue Carbuncle'. Our topic this half-term will focus on science where we will learn about the light and electricity.
Information for Autumn
P.E. Days are Monday and Wednesday.
No bags larger than book bags please. Bags take up a lot of space and are usually empty. Packed lunch boxes and water bottles are removed from bags on entry to school; a book bag is large enough to contain the items needed to travel to and from the classroom. Large bags will be need to be taken home with the parent at drop off.
Please ensure your child’s clothing is named.
